Hi Guys I have set up a test site with FSB on a domain that I already own and i have to say FSB has some great potential. If you do this right it will be a winner! Checkout my site http://www.mobilephonecomparisons.net and let me know what you guys think. Just remember that I am only testing it at the moment so I can learn how FSB works. Thanks
Good stuff! I am glad to see you give us a try. I see your forum account has not linked with your FSB account yet, this is because your email address on the forum and the one on your fsb account do not match. You can link your accounts and enjoy your premium benefits simply by going here: http://www.freshmarketingforum.com/account/fsblogin You will be presented with a button to associate your FSB account, all you need to do is login to your FSB Account when asked and authorize access. Your accounts will then be linked and you will be able to enjoy the benefits of your premium account. Regarding your website that's a highly contested niche, but it is still a very good niche if you find the right keywords to target. I wish you the best of luck and if you require any assistance at all, please know we are always happy to help. Cheers, Jose R. Lopez
Hi Laksta, I think you did a great job so far with your new store. You have added content on the home page which is very important. I would enable some brands and upload logos for them so it fills up that white space to the right of your home page content. I see you started adding content on your category page, for http://www.mobilephonecomparisons.net/sim-free-mobile-phones/ I would recommend taking some of that top content and adding to the secondary content box so users don't have to scroll down so much to see the products. I see some of the other categories have less content and I would recommend getting some more content added to those categories. I would also start with at least 2 content pages about your niche it could be comparing different phone brands or comparing the difference between pre-pay cell phones and sim-free cell phones. I see the home page banner has shrunk in size when you uploaded it using the freshadmin - configure template options. What I would recommend to do is go back into freshadmin - templates - configure options - images and delete the picture for the "Home Banner Main" by clicking on the garbage icon to the right. Now I would upload the banner directly into /www/templates/classiccoloured/images/home_banner_main.jpg (Make sure your image name is the same as "home_banner_main.jpg" and overwrite the current image. Now the image won't be re-sized by the script and will display the full size. I wish you the best with your new store. Regards NIhad
Hi Laksta. Your site looks great to me. I've just transferred my Store files to my webhost so I will be installing tomorrow. Not brave enough to attempt at this hour - 9pm. Just incase this Newbie gets something wrong and I'm up all night trying to figure it out. I've only ever installed wordpress before so this is going to be a little challenge.
I don't mind to sidetrack on this users post but if you get stuck feel free to create a ticket with us on helpdesk.freshstorebuilder.com and I will help get you going =).
Hi there i have been busy getting stuff together to get another site up. thanks for the compliment. once you have done this a few times you will find it gets easier. good luck and speak to ya soon.
your site looks awesome. the mobile industry is huge, so the more you can narrow it down to give value to your readers the better. love your work !
